ObscuroScan provides AI-powered detection services for identifying deepfakes, manipulated media, and AI-generated content. Our Service processes files locally in your browser without uploading them to our servers.

Service Limitations

• Detection results are estimates based on algorithmic analysis
• No detection method is 100% accurate
• Results should not be used as sole evidence in legal proceedings
• We do not guarantee any specific accuracy rate

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating an account
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not upload or analyze illegal content
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Not attempt to reverse engineer our algorithms

4. Intellectual Property

Our Property

All ObscuroScan technology, algorithms, software, designs, and content are owned by ObscuroScan LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of our Service.

Your Content

You retain all rights to content you analyze using our Service. Since we process files locally in your browser, we never access or claim any rights to your content.

5. Payment Terms

For paid subscriptions:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• No refunds for partial months
• You may cancel anytime, with access continuing until the end of the billing period
• We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days notice

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability of results

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OBSCUROSCAN LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages exceeding the amount paid by you in the past 12 months
• Any consequences from reliance on detection results

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ObscuroScan LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your content or activities

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• We process files locally - no uploads to our servers
• We collect minimal analytics data
• We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations
• We never sell or share your personal information

10. Termination

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ObscuroScan LLC.
